Adriano De Souza is a native to Brazil and immigrated to the USA in 1998. He has been in the restaurant/food industry for over 20 years. Adriano obtained a culinary art degree from Utah Valley University in 2009 with experience in Fine Dining, French-American, American-Asian, and Brazilian Cuisine as well as Catering/Banquet services. His expertise is bringing authenticity to the Food and Restaurant Industry. His passion is to share his love of Brazil with all those he associates with. Recently, Adriano and his family moved from Couer d’Alene, Idaho where he was the creator, owner, and operator of the Grille from Ipanema Brazilian Steakhouse for the last 8 years.
With the move, Adriano decided it was time to bring the health benefits of the newly crazed Açaí Berry to Nampa, Idaho. The açaí berry was first known to be used for its medicinal purposes to cure ailments by the Amazon tribes of Brazil...it is now a favorite ingredient among Americans in fruit bowls and juice smoothies.
