R. Adriano De Souza and his Family recently moved from Couer d’Alene, Idaho where he was past creator, owner and operator of the Grille from Ipanema Brazilian Steakhouse for the last 8 years; He has been in the restaurant / food industry for over 20 years. Adriano obtained a culinary art degree from Utah Valley University in 2009 with experience in Fine Dining, French-American, American-Asian, and Brazilian Cuisine as well as Catering/Banquet services.
He is a native to Brazil and immigrated to the USA in 1998. He has an expertise In bringing authenticity to the Food Industry and a passion to share his love of Brazil with all those he associates with.
His love for sports and family has a created a desire to bring the health benefits of the newly crazed Açaí Berry to his culinary skills. First known to be used for its medicinal purposes to cure ailments by the Amazon tribes of Brazil... It is now a favorite Ingredient among Americans in fruit bowls and juice smoothies. Thus, the beginning and creation of Tijelas: Açaí Café.
